Police Searching For Armed Suspect Who Bound And Robbed Store Employees
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – The Sacramento Police department is asking for help in identifying an armed man who robbed the employees of a local business but didn't take anything from the business itself.
Police say the man went to Tire & Wheel Outlet in the 8300 block of Folsom Boulevard on May 6 just before 6:00 p.m.
Surveillance video shows the suspect getting out of his car as an employee approaches. He then points his gun at the employee and forces him back inside the building.
The suspect bound the employees at gunpoint and took property from them but did not take anything from the shop.
The suspect and suspect vehicle were caught on surveillance video. The suspect is described as a white man in his 30's. He's 6 feet tall weighing about 300 pounds. He has a dark beard, was wearing a baseball cap, dark gloves and was carrying an orange backpack.
The suspect's car is described as a 1980-90's light blue car.
