Suspects Target Medical Marijuana In South Sac Home Invasion Robbery
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Sacramento County sheriff's deputies are investigating an armed home invasion in south Sacramento early Friday morning.
Deputies were called to a home on 53rd Avenue and Sun River Drive at about 4:30 a.m.
Deputies say several men kicked in the front door of the home, pointed guns at the family and headed straight for the backyard.
The suspects were after medical marijuana and loaded up a getaway car with the pot before taking off, according to deputies.
No one was hurt.
No suspect descriptions were released.
