Police Say 5 People Found Dead Inside San Francisco Home

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Five members of a family were found dead inside a home near San Francisco's City College in an apparent murder-suicide, police said Friday.

Police Chief Greg Suhr said a family member walked into the house shortly before 8 a.m. and discovered the bodies.

Officers responding to the scene found five adults — three women and two men, the San Francisco Chronicle reported (http://bit.ly/GSdhgX).

Police said it was unclear who fired the shots, but they were not looking for any suspects at large.

Officers closed off the street in the city's Ingleside District, and investigators were examining the orange, two-story home.
