Police Release Model Of Unidentified Murder Victim

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- Sacramento County and federal authorities have released a model of a homicide victim who was found dead in the Delta in 2008.

The Sacramento County Coroner's Office said the unidentified woman's skeleton was discovered by a fisherman near the 17000 block of Tyler Island Road on March 29, 2008. Tests indicate the woman was killed in 2004.

The victim, described as a 30 to 45 year old Caucasian female about 5'3" to 5'8" tall, was found wearing the remains of a blue "Delta Fire Crew" sweatshirt with two crossed fireman's axes, a Grateful Dead jacket and jeans. She was also wearing a number of jewelry pieces, including a beaded necklace with a crouching frog and a white metal bracelet with green heart charms.
