Police Release Identity Of Pedestrian Hit And Killed In Citrus Heights
CITRUS HEIGHTS (CBS13) - Police have released the identity of the pedestrian hit while crossing a Citrus Heights street over the weekend.
Joseph Downing, 28, was killed while crossing at the intersection of Sunrise Boulevard and Old Auburn Road.
Although Downing was crossing within the crosswalk, he was crossing against the light, according to officers.
The driver stayed at the scene.
