Police Pursue Suspects After Vehicle Crash In Sacramento
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — An elementary school has been put on lockdown after two people fled after crashing a car being pursued by the CHP on Wednesday in the Del Paso Heights area.
Sacramento Police officers responded to the area of Clay and Sonoma streets after reports that a gray or green Lexus being pursued by the CHP crashed and two occupants fled. A perimeter was being set up, according to police spokeswoman Officer Laura Peck.
The only description police had was that one suspect is a Hispanic male wearing a purple shirt.
The elementary school is in the Twin Rivers School District. The name of the school wasn't immediately available.
