FAIRFIELD (CBS13) – A Fairfield man is facing charges of sexually harassing teens as they walked to school.
According to the Fairfield Police Department, several students from Vanden High School reported Wednesday morning that a man had approached them as they were walking to school. The man then started making vulgar and sexual comments to them, the teens said.
An officer responded to the school but couldn't find the man at first. However, police were apparently familiar with the suspect, due to him being accused of similar incidents in the recent past.
The suspect was identified as 29-year-old Chad Nelson and officers soon arrested him along the 2900 block of Teton Lane.
Nelson was booked at Solano County Jail and is now facing charges of annoying or molesting a child under 18 years of age.
