Police Arrest Good Friday Mugging Suspect
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- Sacramento Police have arrested a man for allegedly stealing money from a church goer. And it happened on Good Friday.
William Castro is accused of stealing $2,000 from a church parishioner at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in downtown Sacramento.
Police say Castro pointed a gun at the man and demanded his wallet.
The man said Castro $2,000 that he planned to loan to a friend to buy a car. Later that day a Good Samaritan donated the money to the victim.
