Police Arrest 3 Suspects In Connection With Fatal Stabbing At Sacramento Apartment
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A police investigation has resulted in the arrest of three people accused in connection with the stabbing death of a Sacramento man earlier this month.
On the night of December 14, police were called out to apartments in the 2600 block of Rio Linda Boulevard and found the victim, 55-year-old Carlos Rios, with stab wounds to his upper body. Paramedics took Rios to the hospital to receive emergency life-saving treatment, but he died, according to a Sacramento Police Department statement.
Witnesses back at the scene of the stabbing told homicide detectives investigating the case that, just before Rios was stabbed, Rios was involved in a confrontation with several men.
Detectives identified Kenneth Hopkins, Benigno Duran, and Jeremy Rosales as primary suspects in the case and, last week, arrested all three.
