Police: Argument Over Woman Leads To Stabbing
STOCKTON (CBS13) – Police say that two men have been arrested after a fight that looks to have stemmed from an argument over a woman.
The incident happened early Thursday morning along the 1500 block of S. Hunter Street, according to the Stockton Police Department. A 45-year-old man was reportedly drinking with his so-called friend when they started arguing about the woman.
At some point the "friend" left, only to come back with a relative and a knife. Police say the "friend" then stabbed the 45-year-old man.
Both the alleged attacker, 48-year-old Larry Gonzales, and his relative, 43-year-old Philip Arroyo, were arrested later without incident. Both face conspiracy charges, while Gonzales also faces an assault with a deadly weapon charge.
