Police: 2 Killed, 1 Critically Injured In Acampo Shooting

ACAMPO (CBS13) --  Two people were killed and another was injured in a shooting in Acampo, according to police.

Investigators say that the two victims were killed at different residences in the 24000 block of Homestead Lane Friday afternoon.  The other shooting victim was critically injured and taken to a local hospital.

According to police, the suspect took off in a car and led police on a high speed chase down Highway 99 before crashing the vehicle on Harney Lane.

The suspect who was driving the vehicle was arrested.

Police are conducting a full investigation, but a motive for the shootings is unclear at this time.
