Plane En Route To Reno Crashes In Sierra County

SIERRA COUNTY (CBS13) - A plane en route to Reno crashed in Sierra County Thursday afternoon.

The Cessna 421 went down near Verdi around 1:30 p.m., officials say.

Multiple agencies are responding to the scene, including the National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration.

It is unknown at this time how many people were aboard the plane or if there are any casualties.
