Plane Bound For Hawaii Makes Emergency Landing

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- An Alaska Airlines plane bound for Hawaii had to make an emergency landing at the Sacramento International Airport on Friday morning.

The plane took off from Terminal B but had to turn back around for a mechanical problem, according to the airport.

The plane landed safely at about 9:40 a.m. and there were no injuries. An airport official said the issue was with a malfunctioning flap.
