PG&E To Potentially Shut Off Power Monday In Six Counties Around The Region To Reduce Wildfire Risk

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — PG&E announced Saturday that there will be possible power shutoffs on Monday evening in six counties around the region in hopes of reducing the risk of wildfires.

The company announced that they may proactively shut off power in portions of Butte, El Dorado, Nevada, Yuba, Placer and Sutter counties.

PG&E said they will be contacting potentially affected customers by phone call, text or email.
