Person Hit, Killed By Big Rig In West Sacramento
WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Streets in West Sacramento were closed for a time after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a big rig Friday morning.
According to West Sacramento Police, the man was hit by the big rig on West Capitol Avenue, near Enterprise Boulevard, around 2 a.m.
The man died on scene. He has not been identified.
Police say the big rig driver stayed on scene.
West Capitol Avenue is closed while officers investigate the scene.
