Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Citrus Heights
CITRUS HEIGHTS (CBS13) – A man was hit and killed on a Citrus Heights road Sunday night.
It happened on Old Auburn and Sunrise Boulevard at around 10 p.m.
When Citrus Heights police officers arrived, they found a 59-year-old man down in the roadway. He was pronounced dead on scene.
"We're exploring every opportunity we have in an attempt to get an idea on what caused this collision," said Officer Anthony Boehle with Citrus Heights Police.
The car involved in the accident stayed at the scene and police say the driver is cooperating with the investigation.
