Pedestrian Killed In Fair Oaks Accident
FAIR OAKS, Calif. (CBS13) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Fair Oaks on Saturday night, authorities said.
The California Highway Patrol said the victim, described as a white male in his 50s or 60s, was standing in the street on Sunset Avenue near San Juan Avenue when he was struck by a Honda Accord at around 9:00 p.m.
Authorities said the driver was traveling northbound on Sunset and did not have time to evade the pedestrian. There are no indications that drugs and alcohol are factors.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
