Parole Reform Bill Inspired By Jaycee Dugard Case Introduced At Capitol
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (CBS13) - New legislation is being introduced today aimed at helping keep dangerous, life-term prisoners behind bars.
The Parole Reform Act is inspired by the Jaycee Lee Dugard case.
Senator Ted Gaines and others will be holding a press conference at the State Capitol today to discuss the details of the bill.
It comes on the heels of major criticism handed down to the parole system on how they handled Philip Garrido's case.
