Overturned Big Rig Shuts Down Northbound Interstate 5 In Lodi
LODI (CBS13) – Northbound Interstate 5 in Lodi is shutdown after a big rig carrying food products overturned just north of Twin Cities Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Crews used inflatable bags to uprighted the tractor trailer but have not moved it off the freeway just yet.
The big rig driver apparently lost control of the truck just before 2:30 a.m.
The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries but he's expected to be OK.
Motorists are being taken off the freeway at Twin Cities Road and taken around the accident before being let back onto the freeway.
