Otis The Skydiving Dog Passes Away
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Otis, a pug from Galt, who made headlines around the world after making dozens of skydiving jumps with his owner has died.
His owner, Will DaSilva, says Otis died peacefully in his sleep on March 26.
The 10-year-old skydiving dog was featured on Good Day Sacramento back in August making his 65th jump. Otis, with his tongue flapping, landed safely strapped to DaSilva and it captured live on television.
It turns out, that was Otis' final jump.

DaSilva has no plans on training another dog to skydive saying Otis was one of a kind.
DaSilva buried Otis in his frontyard, along side another family pet, and planted a Cherry tree in their honor.
