One person killed, two others hurt in Sloughhouse crash
SLOUGHHOUSE — One person is dead and two others were taken to the hospital after two cars crashed head-on in Sloughhouse, Sacramento County deputies said.
It happened around 4 a.m. Thursday near Grant Line Road and Chrysanthy Boulevard. Sacramento Metropolitan firefighters, Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies and Rancho Cordova police all responded to the fatal crash.
Grant Line Road was closed near Kiefer Boulevard. Authorities urged drivers to find alternate routes.
The identity of the person killed in the crash has not been released.
