One Dead After Car Falls From LA Parking Garage
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Firefighters say one person was killed when a car plunged from the third story of a Los Angeles parking garage and landed on its roof.
Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Rich Macheney says the accident in the 1800 block of Sepulveda Boulevard occurred at 9:21 a.m. Tuesday.
Macheney says the victim was in the car. No one else was in the car and no one on the ground was hurt.
Macheney says officials don't know yet how the accident happened.
He says the victim has not yet been identified.
