Reports of mountain lion nearby prompts shelter-in-place for El Dorado Hills school
EL DORADO HILLS – An El Dorado Hills school went on a shelter-in-place Monday morning after getting reports of a mountain lion, authorities say.
The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office says they got reports about two mountain lions being seen in the backyard of a residence adjacent to Oak Ridge High School.
Officials had the school shelter in place and deputies walked the campus.
That shelter in place order was lifted around 11 a.m.
