North Sacramento Gang Violence Has Residents Ready To Move
NORTH SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Three days after a man and women were found shot dead at an apartment complex, residents in north Sacramento are worried they could be next in what investigators are calling a gang war.
In the past two weeks, the area has seen three shootings. The Memorial Day shooting left a man and a woman dead at an apartment complex on Oakhollow Drive in broad daylight—the same complex another man was shot at.
"We're just not safe here anymore, so we're going to try to move out," said Kacy Jones.
The third shooting claimed the life of 10-year-old Elvira Campos, who was watching TV in her home on Channing Way.
No one has been arrested in any of the incidents.
