North Highlands Man Accused Of Lewd Acts With Child Under 14
NORTH HIGHLANDS (CBS13) - A local man is facing child exploitation charges, and authorities are urging more possible victims come forward.
Over the weekend, Sacramento County Sheriff's Department detectives arrested 45-year-old Michael John Leonard for lewd and lascivious acts with a victim under the age of 14. Leonard allegedly had access to children and teenagers in Sacramento County and surrounding areas and would frequent skating rinks, dance studios and other places where children were present, according to a sheriff's department statement.
The Sacramento County District Attorney's Office and detectives are continuing their investigation in to the case.
