North Highlands Church Damaged By Overnight Fire
NORTH HIGHLANDS (CBS13) - Sacramento Metro fire fighters spent hours searching for any victims that may have been trapped as a result of an early morning fire at a North Highlands church.
The fire started around 4 a.m. in the rear residential section of the Emmanuel Church on Stephen Drive.
Fire fighters had trouble accessing the building as the fire burned through two apartments.
As a result, the roof collapsed and fire officials were not sure if anyone is still trapped inside.
