New Street Signs To Be Unveiled In Lavender Heights

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – New street signs will be unveiled on Thursday to officially designate Sacramento's Lavender Heights neighborhood.

The signs will go up at the intersection of 20th and K Streets in the city's historic LGBTQ neighborhood.

The sign toppers were approved by the Sacramento City Council last year and come after the neighborhood got rainbow crosswalks that also highlight the area's historical significance to Sacramento's LGBTQ community.
