Natomas Big Rig Crash Knocks Out Power To 9,000
NATOMAS (CBS13) – The lights are back on for thousands of people in Natomas after a big rig crashed into a power pole overnight.
An 18-wheeler slammed into a pole on Northgate and North Market boulevards just north of Interstate 80 around 3:30 Tuesday morning, according to CHP.
The crash knocked out power to more than 9,000 customers.
SMUD crews immediately began repairs and were able to restore power just after 6:00 a.m.
