Nancy Garrido Released From El Dorado County Jail
EL DORADO COUNTY (CBS13) – The woman who helped kidnap and keep Jaycee Lee Dugard captive for 18 years has been moved to her new permanent home in state prison.
The El Dorado County Sheriff's Department says Nancy Garrido has been released from the El Dorado County Jail.
Although the department will not confirm where Nancy Garrido will serve her 36-year prison term, she will probably be sent to one of the women's prisons at Chowchilla.
Nancy Garrido and her husband Phillip were sentenced for kidnapping and raping Dugard earlier this month.
Phillip was sentenced to 431 years to life.
