Names Released In Merced Murder-Suicide
The Merced Sheriff's Office has released the names of the suspect and victim in a murder-suicide.
The suspect, Shue Xiong, 22, reportedly shot Jenny Moua, 23, several times in the head after an argument on Tuesday, then drove to Fresno and shot himself in the head in front of his grandparents, according to Deputy Tom MacKenzie.
The two reportedly had a dispute in the 400 block of east Gerard Avenue in Merced and a neighbor intervened. Xiong drove away, came back, got out of his truck, reached over the shoulder of the neighbor, who was standing next to the driver-side door of Moua's car, and shot her while she was sitting in her car, MacKenzie said.
Xiong then drove straight to Fresno and killed himself, MacKenzie said.
