Multi-Car Crash Snarls Traffic On Interstate 5, Two Hurt
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Traffic was brought to a standstill after a multi-car crash on Interstate 5 in Sacramento Wednesday morning.
The accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-5 near Richards Boulevard and involved up to eight vehicles, according to CHP.
All lanes of the freeway were shut down for about an hour while CHP investigated and emergency crews responded.
Despite the large traffic mess, only two people were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
