Mother Finds Daughter Dead In Foothill Farms Apartment
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- Authorities said a mother who was concerned about her daughter's welfare found the victim of an apparent murder Wednesday morning.
The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department said the victim, described as a woman in her 20s, suffered "obvious signs of trauma" to her upper body and was found dead in an apartment on the 5100 block of Andrea Boulevard.
The victim's mother and mother's boyfriend discovered the grisly scene after they lost contact with the woman for a couple days, investigators said.
Homicide detectives have not found any neighbors who witnessed any disturbances in the victim's apartment. No information about potential suspects has been released.
