Woman, Child Stabbed In Modesto; Suspect In Custody
MODESTO (CBS13) - A Modesto woman and her five-year-old son are recovering in the hospital after they were allegedly attacked in a domestic violence incident.
The incident happened Saturday night in an alley near Scenic Drive and Bodem Street.
Modesto police have arrested 45-year-old parolee Rene Franco on suspicion of attempted homicide.
Franco is being treated for possibly self-inflicted injuries. Both victims are expected to survive.
