Lockdown Lifted At Modesto Elementary School

MODESTO (CBS13) – A Modesto elementary school is no longer on lockdown after police ended a search for two burglary suspects.

Police had been searching for two men suspected of breaking into a home in the 3000 block of Ashland Way. Officers ordered Prescott Senior Elementary School to go on lockdown while they conducted a yard-to-yard search in the area of Rumble Road near the school.

After and extensive search, police ended their search saying they believe the suspects were able to elude capture.
