Modesto Police Shoot And Kill Suspect
MODESTO (CBS13) - A suspect is dead after being shot by police on Sunday morning.
Modesto Police responded to the 2000 block of Lance Street just before 7 a.m. Sunday to a report that a male was threatening a female with a gun.
According to Heather Graves with the Modesto Police Department, the man got into a car when he saw police arriving. The suspect than lead police on a chase which ended very close to where it started.
At that point, the man got out of the car and gunfire rang out. The suspect was shot and transported to a local hospital where he later died.
