Modesto Police Identify Victim And Suspect In Fatal Domestic Fight

MODESTO, Calif. (CBS13) – Modesto police have released the names of the suspect and victim if a deadly domestic dispute over the weekend.

Police arrested 53-year-old Mitchell Azevedo on murder charges in the death of his wife 60-year-old Sharon Azevedo.

Police were called to the Azevedo's home in the 3300 block of Creek Bed Court on Sunday evening for a report of a domestic dispute.

When they arrived, they found Sharon Azevedo had been shot. She later died at a nearby hospital.

Mitchell Azevedo was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Jail.
