Modesto Police Cars Rammed By Suspects

MODESTO (CBS13) –   Several Modesto police cars have been damaged after being rammed by suspects trying to flee from officers.

Three men are being detained and five cop cars damaged after the early morning incident.

It started at Prescott Estates on Chrysler Drive.

Officers responded to a noise complaint when they heard shots ring out.

Then a car tried to leave an alleyway, but was blocked in by several police cars.

The suspect vehicle rammed the squad cars and was then hit by another squad car.

Three people are in police custody.

No word on what charges they may face.
