Modesto Officers Searching For Suspects Believed To Be Armed And Dangerous
5:45 p.m. Update: Police say the suspects have surrendered.
MODESTO (CBS13) – Police in Modesto are looking for two men Monday afternoon believed to be armed and dangerous.
Officers are focusing on the area near High Street and Scenic Drive.
Heather Graves with the Modesto Police Department says officers were originally called a little after noon for a reported shooting. The suspects then led officers on a chase in car before they got out and ran.
Witnesses at the scene saw the suspects grab a gun out of a car.
Police do not know if the suspects are hiding in a home, but they do believe the suspects are in the area.
