Modesto Neighbor Allegedly Robs Neighbor In Broad Daylight
MODESTO (CBS13) — A Modesto man is accused of pulling a gun on his neighbor and robbing him in the driveway.
Police say the Elm Avenue robbery suspect tried to hide out after targeting his neighbor in a broad daylight crime.
The call for help came just after 11 a.m. on Wednesday when a neighbor told officers the suspected robber approached while he and his son were in the driveway and prepared to leave.
After showing a gun, the man said his neighbor ransacked his car, stealing cash. He then walked a few doors down to his house and locked the door.
Because the victim recognized the familiar face, it didn't take long for cops to track down 32-year-old Sean Collins.
During a search of his home, officers found the stolen money, as well as marijuana, prescription pills, 10 guns and body armor.
Even with Collins' arrest, one neighbor says enough's enough and she's moving.
"I'm trying to find a place where there's not something like that happening in my neighborhood," said the mother of five who didn't want to be identified.
