Highway 99 Back Open In Modesto After Big Rig Blocked All Lanes
MODESTO (CBS13) — A jackknifed big rig blocked traffic along southbound Highway 99 in Modesto on Tuesday.
The incident happened a little before 2 p.m. near Crows Landing Road.
Just before 7:30 p.m., Caltrans District 10 tweeted that the roadway was back open.
Exactly what led up to the big rig becoming jackknifed is unclear, but officers say the vehicle lost its load and, at one point, had completely blocked the roadway.
