Modesto Girl In Critical Condition After Being Struck On Bicycle
MODESTO (CBS13) -- Modesto Police are currently investigating an accident involving a 12-year-old girl who was struck while riding her bicycle on Carver Road and Briggsmore Ave.
According to reports, she was apparently not wearing a helmet when she was hit in the intersection.
Initial reports indicate that she may have ridden into traffic, say Modesto Police.
The driver of the vehicle is not being detained at this time.
The girl is currently in critical condition, and has been transported to a local hospital.
