Modesto Father Arrested In Death Of His 2-Month-Old Son
MODESTO, Calif. (CBS13) – Modesto police have arrested a father in the death of his own 2-month-old son.
Emergency crews were called to a home in the 1400 block of Kingsbury Avenue early Thursday morning. When they arrived, they found a 2-month-old boy who was not breathing. Paramedics tried to revive the baby but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy revealed the baby died of non-accidental injuries. After investigating, homicide officers arrested the boy's father, 30-year-old Abinesh Kumar for murder.
Kumar's other child, a 1-year-old boy, was taken into protective custody temporarily.
