Million-Dollar Pot Grow Discovered In Suisun City Home
SUISUN CITY (CBS13) - Solano County sheriff's deputies made a million-dollar pot bust Tuesday afternoon in Suisun City.
Just after 12 p.m., detectives with the Solano County Sheriff's Office were tipped off by the Suisun City Police Department to a large marijuana grow inside a home in the 500 block of Wigeon Way.
The home had been modified with added walls, an air filtration system, and had rerouted electrical services to the home. Two rooms of the home were dedicated to just growing marijuana, say deputies.
About 485 plants were confiscated, with a street value of nearly $1.5 million. Investigators also found about 15 ounces of processed marijuana valued at around $4,500.
Deputies arrested 22-year-old Arthur Creggett for cultivating marijuana and possessing more than an ounce of marijuana. He was booked into the Solano County Jail, but has been released after posting $15,000 bail.
The house has since been deemed uninhabitable.
