Men Forced Into Car Trunk During Overnight Home Invasion
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (CBS13) – Sacramento police are searching for a suspect who shoved two men into a car trunk during a home invasion robbery overnight.
Police say a homeowner and his roommate were in their garage on Sandcastle Way near West El Camino when an armed man walked up and forced them into their home to search for items to steal.
After threatening the victims, he took them back outside and forced them into the trunk of a car before taking off with thousands of dollars in foreign and U.S. currency.
The men were able to get out of the car by themselves and used a neighbor's phone to call police.
The suspect is described as a black man in his 30's about 6'2" tall with a heavy build and wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt.
