Mayweather vs. Pacquiao: CEO Leonard Ellerbe Predicts Who Will Win
During Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s open workout in Las Vegas on Tuesday, Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe stated that he believes Mayweather will win the fight against Manny Pacquiao on May 2.
"I know for a fact that he'll be able to come out and dictate the pace," Ellerbe told CBS Sports. "[Manny Pacquiao] makes a lot of mistakes, and Floyd will be able to exploit those mistakes from the opening bell. We might see a knockout in this fight. If Floyd sees the opportunity, I know for a fact that he'll finish it off."
Hundreds of media members attended Mayweather's Tuesday workout, and Pacquiao's is take place today at Freddie Roach's Wild Card Boxing Club in Los Angeles.
In response to the huge turnout of media members at the Tuesday workout, Ellerbe said: "We're used to seeing all this hoopla. It's another day at the office for us. Floyd always trains the same for every opponent. He's the best conditioned athlete in all of sports."
