Man Tied Up For Hours During Home Robbery
ELK GROVE (CBS13) -- The victim of a home robbery in Elk Grove was tied up inside his home for hours before he could free himself Saturday afternoon.
According to the Elk Grove Police Department, the victim met two women at his apartment Saturday morning after connecting with them on a social networking website.
Minutes after the women left, two men broke into the home, tied up the man inside and stole valuable electronics and cash, authorities said.
The man was eventually able to free himself after at least two hours. He was not seriously injured.
Investigators believe they may be able to identify the suspects through the social networking website.
