Man Suspected Of Trying To Burglarize Arden Arcade School
ARDEN ARCADE (CBS13) – Authorities say they stopped a man from burglarizing an Arden Arcade area school.
The man, 30-year-old Christopher Hooten, was reportedly inside of General Davie Jr. Primary Center for almost two hours.
This all began a little after 11:30 a.m. when the sheriff's department got an alarm call. Officers arrived 15 minutes later and spotted Hooten in a classroom.
Several announcements were made on a loudspeaker for the suspect to come out.
As he tried to leave, deputies say he had a run in with a law enforcement K9.
By 1:20, deputies had taken Hooten into custody.
Deputies say there was no lost property.
Hooten will likely face a charge of burglary.
