Man Shot In The Face Trying To Protect Woman
NORTH HIGHLANDS (CBS13) – A man is recovering in the hospital after being shot in the face overnight in North Highlands.
The shooting happened on Watt Avenue near Myrtle after he tried to stop two men from harassing a woman.
The woman was being chased by two men when she went into a 7-Eleven store.
The victim was shot by one of the suspects. Both were still on the run.
No suspect information was immediately available.
The victim's condition was not known.
