Man Shot At Sacramento Apartment Complex

CARMICHAEL (CBS13) -- The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department is searching for the subject in a shooting at an apartment complex Friday afternoon.

A woman sitting in a car at the Date Tree Apartments at 4909 Date Avenue called 911 after someone ran up to her and said a man had been shot inside an apartment, according to sheriff's spokesman Deputy Jason Ramos.

Responding deputies were then flagged down by another person saying a man had been shot in the hand inside an apartment.

The suspect fled and sheriff deputies set up a perimeter around the apartment complex looking for him, Ramos said.
