Man Shot After Coming Home And Interrupting Burglar
STOCKTON (CBS13) – Police say that a man was shot by a suspect who had just burglarized his home Thursday evening.
The 53-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman were reportedly just getting home to their 2000 block of Pajaro Way home a little before 7 p.m. when they spotted the suspect walking out of their house.
Stockton Police say that man tried to confront the suspect, but the suspect pulled out a gun and shot him.
The suspect then took off in a car where two other suspects were waiting.
The man had to be taken to hospital to be treated for the gunshot injury, but he is expected to be OK.
Police say that the suspects are still on the loose.
